West Coast Beach Volleyball Club (WCBVC) was started in October 2017 for players, by players.

 

Our mission is to provide beach volleyball activities for players with a reasonable skill level (e.g., players who can competently play 2 vs 2) in a friendly and inclusive environment. We run social drop-in sessions on Tuesday evenings (6:30pm to 8:30pm) and Sunday mornings (8:30am to 10:30am). These sessions are for competent players who just want to show up and play games without the hassle of organising other players or setting up equipment.

With 6 beach volleyball courts, our venue provides plenty of space for games so players can usually get the types of matches they are looking for. In general, we play men's doubles, women's doubles or mixed doubles, but occasionally you can spot 3, 4 or even 5 players a side during our warm-up games or when things get too busy for pairs on each court (or when we are getting a bit too tired for pairs).

If you're interested, all you need to do is show up on a Tuesday or Sunday and join in (the first session is free). If you enjoy yourself and want to continue, you can keep coming and pay $10 per session, or join the club then just turn up and play.
